PES Providing Fully Integrated 3D Modelling

Porcupine Engineering Services is happy to announce that we are now providing our clients with the state of the art Fully integrated 3D modeling. We have acquired office wide licensing of the Autodesk Plant Design Suite (which is a fully integrated 3D modeling bundle of discipline specific software such Revit Structures, Inventor and Plant 3D) We can now provide our clients with high quality 3D models as well as our well known quality engineering drawings.

Lake Shore Gold Announces Completion of Mill Expansion

Tony Makuch, President and CEO of Lake Shore Gold, commented: "We have achieved a major milestone for our Company and its shareholders with the completion of our 50% mill expansion. Our new crushing and grinding circuit has been well constructed and includes excellent infrastructure. The expanded capabilities of our mill were highlighted in September when throughput averaged 3,370 tpd and on a number of days was significantly higher than that level. We also continued to see improvement in our grades, achieving an average of 4.6 gpt in the third quarter despite processing some low-grade material during the commissioning of our mill expansion. Our mining operations performed well, with a total of 36,000 tonnes of run-of-mine ore in stockpile at the end of September."

Porcupine Engineering Services Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Porcupine Engineering Services held its ribbon cutting ceremony on June 13, 2013 to celebrate the recent move to 316 Spruce Street South, Timmins. Mayor Laughren was there to celebrate the occasion and help the PES team welcome the community to their new location.

PES completes a Strategic Export Marketing Program

Porcupine Engineering recently completed The Strategic 'One-on-One' Export Marketing Program which was funded by the Province of Ontario through the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry and is being delivered by Ontario's North Economic Development Corporation.

PES and BECMA Ltd. awarded Bissett Creek project

PES is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a contract for the detailed engineering and design of the Bissett Creek graphite project. The project will be a joint effort between Porcupine Engineering Services Inc. and BECMA Ltd.. We will be responsible for the engineering and design of the 2,500 tonne per day processing facility, and related infrastructure, that will produce approximately 20,000 tonnes of large flake, high purity graphite per year.
