Sudbury Rocks Road Race

Porcupine Engineering sponsored Desiree Ashby in the Sudbury Rocks road race. Desiree raised over $1,400 towards diabetes research.

In conjunction with an electrical contractor, Porcupine Engineering has been awarded a breaker replacement design build project for a hydro electric facility. 11-017

Professional Engineers Association hockey tournament

Porcupine Engineering Services is proud to support the annual Professional Engineers Association hockey tournament held in Sudbury.

Together with AGP Mining Consultants, Porcupine Engineering has been awarded a contract to perform a Feasibility Study for a Guatemalan silver mine. 11-044

Supporting the Education System

PES supports the education system by exposing young students to the field of engineering. We are pleased to welcome Ben Andrews to the PES team as a cooperative education student from Timmins High and Vocational School.

Porcupine Engineering awarded the contract to provide detailed design services to expand a local Timmins gold mill from 2000 tonnes per day to 3000 tonnes per day. The scope includes a new truck dump building, crushing facility, SAG mill building, thickener, and CIL tanks in addition to upgrades to their existing facilities. 11-142

Mike McKelvey

We are pleased to welcome Mike McKelvey to the PES structural/mechanical team as a designer. Mike is a graduate of Northern College with working experience as a designer/project manager as well.

PES office in Sudbury

Mario Colantonio, Frank O'Donnell, Brian Emblin and Luc Duquette are pleased to announce that PES has now opened an office in Sudbury, ON. The opening of a new office will provide industrial clients in the greater Sudbury area with engineering & project management services in a responsive and professional manner.
